Why it's a good thing the MSM lies.
I was going to make a long post about why it's good and what would happen if the msm were to be forthcoming about everything but decided nobody would read it.. so.. I'll just say this:

Look at this forum and all the other conspiracy forums, and ask yourself if people in this community can handle the unadulterated truth?
There's so much fear, and panic, and hate lately that it almost begs the question; if you don't create it yourself, are you more likely to be more or less fearful of it?
It's a ridiculous thing to say, and sounds funny, but I don't think anyone here really wants the truth, or could deal with the reality of every situation. You've found purpose in coming to your own conclusions, and recreating your own reality from the lack of one you find in the news. Everyone here talks about the lamestream media, and claims they lie about everything they can. That might be true, but it could be because groups and individuals tend to act irrationally when faced with he truth. Panic ensues, and the group dynamic becomes unstable. Violence and hate are products of ideas, and for now, we are doing fine on our own creating that world. What if it were given to us without the need to create it? Nobody truly wants the facts, or the raw truth of things, found purpose in making that up, or purpose in the road to uncovering it.

What do you think? I'm not trying to be offensive, but imagine a world where things weren't sugarcoated, and people acted sane when faced with the grimmest of realities? Give me your opinions. Please be honest though, I'm sure most of you will say that you can handle the nature of things, but try to consider what happens in groups when they are upset...

Thanks for reading.

Re: Why it's a good thing the MSM lies.
When one builds their own lives on the lies of others there are going to be certain incongruencies that lead to unhappiness, illness, and danger.

For instance, if I told you that a neighborhood was safe to leave your doors unlocked in, and you trusted me that it was true, so you left the doors unlocked and were killed in your sleep...that would be a danger that only occurred because you built your life based on a lie.

If we tell a child that santa is real and safe, and he then is willingly abducted by a man in a santa suit, again that is because he built his trust and his response to life on the lies we have told.

Living a real life based on falsehoods is never good.

The MSM has one job: lie to the people on behalf of the shadow government. The media was created to keep the government transparent and the people aware of their wrongdoings. They were once a thorn in the side of the government, now they are the propaganda wing. If we started taking them out everytime one of them lied to us, we would get transparency back in a hurry.

There's a certain culture of lies that extends beyond the media, or at least it did in the area of the states I grew up in.
People expected to be lied to, wanted to hear lies, there was a certain understanding that the truth was to remain unspoken and children were harshly shushed if they spoke it.
Even if the media told the truth, I think people would just ignore it and continue on with their odd culture.
