Copahue is an active stratovolcano is on the boundary between Neuquén and the Bio Bio region, Chile. As part of the Andes mountains, at an altitude of 2,997 meters ..

any large eruption here may give us what we've been waiting for

Not this time, but we heard it last year when the Pehueye exploded and covered our mountain village in 40 centimeters of sand and ash. Horrrible experience...

thank fuck for that. if you could hear something 200 miles away, it'd be change of underwear time

Chilean earthquakes along with volcanos errupting within very little time in between, every time.

The Pehueye volcano that errupted last year that we heard rumbling is only 30 miles away from my mountain home.

I'm watching it on a news break. Apparently is more of a threat for air traffic right now.

nice images. looks small, for now.

Lots of volcanoes are erupting. Unless it explodes like Mt. St. Helen or Pompeii or something, it's not that newsworthy. I am always disappointed, they start erupting and then peter out or they just burp and fart for a couple of years.

I have a buddy visiting me from Cali stuck at Newberry airport in B.A. awaiting news, flights might be cancelled, they're already delayed.

Exactly, they have all flights in that area cancelled in Chile, too. Bad time of the year for that.

Satellite image taken on 14:00 on 22 November shows a large ash plume drifting 110 KM SE from Copahue volcano. Ash fall has been reported in Loncopue village in Argentina, 50 KM SE of the volcano. …Alert Level for the volcano has been raised from GREEN to ORANGE.

have been watching the quakes, two in west montana in the last 24 hours...and that one in the newberry caldera, oregon...

btw HAARP was turned on at 00:00 on Dec. 20 bangning away for nearly a day at the 2 frequency range. Average frequency of earthquakes is 2. The New Madrid is 1.8 hertz.
