Sun Did NOT Set On TIME This PM

Is this the only explanation you can find for such a scientific observation?

posts like this are pointless unless you a) can see the distant horizon, unimpeded by hills/buildings and b) you know what the times are SUPPOSED to be for sunset/sunrise times at your area and c) you know how sunsets/sunrises are DEFINED. Sunrise for example is when the first bit of the sun peeks above the horizon, and sunset is when it completely disappears below it.

if I had a clear horizon, i'd do it, but I haven't. Can anyone with a clear horizon do this for us all, so we can lay it to rest?

One think is obvious, at least here, six in the afternoon is shinest than other years, not so bright but lightly.
