I've hear time and time again people argue that the Founding fathers couldn't envision semi automatic rifles when they wrote the second amendment.

So their argument is that the founding fathers could envision satellites, television, radio, and internet, but not the development of more powerful weapons. We either honor the Constitution in its entirety or we don't have one. You can't pick and choose which parts you want to enforce. It's all or nothing!

If you wish to change it then write up an amendment and get it ratified. Otherwise STFU!
