ASSAULT WEAPON? Fail. Bad. - Video: Magical Rifle | |

The weapon is not an AR of any variant - charging handle on right side causes shell to eject. Discussion with blown up picts, etc. can be seen here. [link to media.ak47.net] I tend to agree with one of the posters at the above link. Looks like a Fiberforce stock which apparently is made for the Marlin, 10/22, and the AK/SKS type weapons. Quick profile glimpse as officer is turning weapon reveals an AK/SKS similarity. Some are arguing for a shotgun due to the appearance of the shell when it ejects. Note two things... 1 - the man repeatedly pulls the charging handle at a rapid rate. More indicative of an AK/SKS, particularly the way in which he is holding the weapon. (left hand over the top, initially) 2- the round ejected may not be nearly as large as it appears - a Brass round under intense lighting (as in the video) will reflect, appearing brighter/larger. One argument in favor of shotgun may be what appears to be a stock sleeve (for holding shotgun shells) - However, it may just be the slits in the Fiberforce stock (poor image) |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1243271 12/22/2012 02:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have had a shotgun resting in a gun rack since 1978. No matter how I threaten it, or curse at it or even throw it around, it has never once shot me. Now, if I deliberately put a bullet in it, I deliberately cock it and I deliberately pull the trigger, I may be dead or in the hospital. When Guns/tools are by evil to their ends it is the deliberate act of the evil doer. Not vice versa.. |
