No joke. This is a lawsuit filed by Electoral College electors from California, in the Eastern District Court, California.

It has progressed to the stage of a hearing on January 3rd, and Obama is being served a subpoena in Hawaii.

Taitz is petitioning for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO), to stop certification of the Electoral College votes, on the grounds of OBAMAFRAUD.

I am not allowed to drive a car in "the land of the free", unless my birth was certified, by my mother, thereby producing a certificate, piece of paper, which allows me to get a "driver license".

It was decided back when the Lewinski stuff was going on for Bill Clinton that a sitting President functionally could not be taken to court for any reason, until after their term of office is over.

I really doubt that anyone will manage to serve him in the half a second between terms, or however that get's judged.

This doesn't mean the paperwork can't be given to him, but the President gets a pass until they are a private citizen again.

Why do you think all of this keeps failing? Once in you have protection that normal people aren't afforded, making it impossible for him to be unseated in this case.

What can be done is impeachment. (Totally different process.) But no one has gotten the right people in the government interested in that.

I still think that it's due to a simple fact: Obama has provided what Hawaii gave to him. That counts as being good enough. Do yo have more than what the state gave you? No. Nor do the Various congressional members that would then be subjected to the same scrutiny. The government cannot state that the documents aren't good enough, once sworn to be correct at the state level. Which this one has been.
