I guess this started over a year ago. But the mcdonalds in my town just started this recently.

Why should an average Joe like myself who works hard, is honest, and respectable stay that way? Seems like the easy and luxurable life is the jobless EBT folks.

EBT can only used on cold food. It does not cover hot food.. So basically you can only get a cold drink , ice cream and such.. McDonalds is not any worse then processed food at a grocery store. They have nutritional facts on all their food and if anything they are limiting sodium in most of their foods. You can buy salads and fruit dishes.. Everyone assumes Mcdonalds is bad and they have always got a bad reputation.

Not everyone who uses foodstamps is lazy and jobless. I work 50 hours a week and have a 3 year old son and have never used health and welfare benefits. Well after my mother passed away I became responsible for not only providing for my son, but also my disabled dad, and my two minor sisters. I receive benefits now but my situation is different I actually work. I do understand and agree with you that a lot of people are lazy and use the benefits so they don't have to work but not everyone falls into this category. As for EBT being used at Mcdonalds, I do know they passed the law to allow homeless people and people without the resources to cook to obtain food but for everyone else it should only be for the grocery store.

My small town here in Kentucky supposedly has one of the top ten grossing MC'Dees in the nation per population...It was a rumor for awhile they were accepting EBT now...and sure enough, I went in with a few friends about 3 months ago, entire family in there using their EBT's

I have seen people I went to HS with (Have not talked to in years) Talk about the going rate on real money vs EBT, Even ask me if I wanted 100 in groceries for 50 in cash. Pathetic to think of the children who suffer from this.
