4.0 Earthquake, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

I believe it might be time to move out of California people..

Holy crap. A 4.0 in California. Who would have thunk it. There is only about 1 earthquake between magnitudes 4 and 5 per week in California. What a rare event you found.

I have been watching USGS (us) and RedPuma (swiss) for the last 3 days, intensively. I have watched the EQ boards for over 10 years and never seen the ring of fire connected like this. Something IS happening. Also new madrid if you check the 7 day or 30 day past much more active than normal - TX, ARK, OK, etc.

Don't let the fact that the fault line also runs in "almost a perfectly straight line" between Paso Robles to Salinas influence your thinking.

Just to remind people of what we are talking about here:

When the San Andreas finally does go, it will shift 32-36 feet north. It will shear-off freeways, aqueducts, rail-lines, and power lines. 25 million people will be trapped in Southern California with no way in, no way out, no food, and no water. The western section of the power grid will automatically go off-line to prevent a domino effect blacking out the rest of the nation. Unfortunately mean the SF Bay Area, Las Vegas, and maybe Portland will go black. In all probability 50 million people will be without power. Forever.

No it's not. I used to work with Cal Tech and have studied quakes for 40 years. This activity is certainly NOT normal.

We are about 25 miles south of Julian and did not feel anything......

Well i live in fucking socal for 25 years i say its normal. Unless you have an actual reason why u think that?

yep.. we felt it, we live in riverside co. city hemet 92545 and it went boom and rolled, thank god it wasnt like the northridge quake when i was on thepot pot passing massive gallstones ... hmmmmmmmmmm

well actually that was a small one 4.0 and though shallow, just like when a semi truck drives down your street and rattles your foundation was the feeling of this quake

Glad to hear u live in Escondido... My Son & Daughter In Law live there and I constantly worry about him being there, at least now I have someone that will report honestly whats going on...LOL-- He doesn't like to tell me so I dint worry but that only worries me more!! KIDS!!

There is nothing abnormal about it at this point. 3's and 4's happen here. Somebody is embellishing.
