I knew it! How's that for a good guess? Were you surprised I knew it? I was a little thrown by the brown, I thought they were white with some black markings. yes i was surprised! everyone asks me what breed he is and nobody has heard of the Landseer. his markings are dark gray and black. no brown. Cool, its a little hard to tell fur color from the pic, My old boyfriend and I had a Newfoundland so we ran across a couple of Landseer's in our day.
