A question for Christians

If you read the book for what the words have to say. You will always be just as confused as all the other religions and followers.

Jesus felt the weight of sin and death at that moment, and I can only speculate that the Father had to withdrawal from Jesus or else He couldn't die.

The Father had to allow it to finish what needed to be accomplished and allow Jesus to die so we could be saved.

That is why.

It explains why he hasn't been seen again for thousands of years
Yet 2000 odd years ago he was appearing and stepping in to disputes and stuff on a regular basis

He is going to appear again very soon.

Yes, man killed the firstborn of God´s children on Earth. You are screwed rightly.

God stopped talking with his people once he sent Jesus.

But I also feel that in the near future, that we may not have another chance to get to know God.

The world is worse now then 2000 years ago
If Christ died for the sins committed back then, they re nothing compared to the sins committed today

Ezekiel 8:12

12 He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol? They say, ‘The Lord does not see us; the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

God has NOT abandoned man, He would never do that.

Jesus experienced what it was like, to be abandoned as a human, on the cross, making himself one with us, and making it possible for the laws of justice to allow us eternal life.

God withdrew his presence from him at that point, and as a human being, Jesus still gave him his obedience and his life -
'into your hands I commend my spirit'.

He died for all people, for the ones back then and the ones today.

Sin is sin. It was sin back then, and it's sin today. He died so we can be forgiven of our sins and be reconciled to the Father through Jesus.

You don't understand that He took our place?

God forsook Him so that He would not forsake us.

So, what's the question?

If he had not left why he is to come back?

To enact a general judgement on humanity and establish his Kingdom subsequently.

The point was: he did leave.

That's basically a cop out
Your saying we HAVE to sin in order to be forgiven and then god will accept us
Yet the bible basically tells us we shouldn't sin in order for god to accept us and that gods patience is short and shouldn't be tested
God doesn't like sinners he casts them out

Look, if he does so, no man would live.

It's supposed to read has god abandoned man

GOD gave man a time period 6000 years, after that Man's rein is over....

Now we know from the Hebrew Calendar were almost at 6000, however we do not know how long Adam and Eve were actually in the Garden...

lol.......no. I didn't say that you have to sin, or that you should sin. You should do your best not to sin. But, you're going to sin and you need to be redeemed.

Jesus is our redeemer. God loves sinners......you're a sinner, we are all sinners. He just hates the sin because sin is rebellion and it's sin that separates us from Him. Jesus paid that price for us, He is our bridge to the Father.

In one sense, He has not left. His Spirit is still with us.

In another sense, He is going to come back physically, to overthrow the wicked rulers of this earth, and establish His kingdom.

He is coming back with ten thousand times ten thousand of His angels, and at that time every eye shall see him.

Even yours.

Pshh well I am not your typical believer. I don't go to a church or having affiliation with many christians. Forget all that stuff anyway. Just ask for the holy spirit to live in you in truth and spirit. Worship in truth and spirit. That's it nothing else. Truth and spirit.

That surely proves he has abandoned us
The world is worse now then at any point in its history
Which shows he's not bothered about it us or what happens
Basically we've been left to our own devices
And sooner or later were just gonna destroy ourselves and find out that there is nothing after this is all over

If you took a moment to research what he was saying, you would realize that he was QUOTING a verse that told EXACTLY what was happening around the cross at that very moment. Our Savior was TEACHING us even at the moment of His death of the ACTIONS of those around the cross who were mocking Him-thus giving us and EXAMPLE of how WE would be treated by those who mock us when we are just trying to show love to those who hate us. Even in that moment when His life was slipping away, HE STILL WAS REACHING OUT TO THOSE WHO WERE KILLING HIM!! God NEVER forsook Him. In fact, He brought the darkness down (a palpable darkness that even those around the cross could FEEL) and caused evean a centurion to state "Surely, this was the Son of God!"

Live in truth and spirit. God speaks to the ones who seek after him. Most do not and go their own way. Christianity judaism are apostate forget them both. Go in truth and spirit. I am a witness.

The whole religion lot doesn't make sense
Why would we get all this suffering wars corruption starvation etc etc etc
Get lied to on a daily basis by politicians media and all that stuff

Then they just repent pray to god and Jesus forgives them and they go to heaven

The whole lot is twisted if you ask me

As a human man, he left, but he left us his spirit.

Yep, the Holy Spirit!
