something blue around the moon last night and tonight

some of us noticed a blue like glow around the moon last night and had a post about it which I cant find now. I am seeing this same thing here tonight. It just hit me that NASA crashed 2 satellites into the moon a few nights ago. Their story was they were running out of fuel. Could they have been trying to get them close enough to the moon to see something behind it,. that we cant see yet. They said they crashed them at the North pole of the moon. Why the north pole? Unless they needed to be in a position to see something on the other side. Sorry I didnt post this on the original thread, but I couldnt find it.
