In the long count calendar, you do count 0. The creation day was 13.0.0.0.0 4 Ahau 8 Cumku. After a grand circle, it will be a 4 Ahua. OP, all you are trying to make up is that the creation day was on a 13 Ahua, right? Study the most basic information first: the Quirigua stela! The creation day was on a 4 Ahau!! It is on the stone!!! There is no need for any calculation.  No shit 4 Ahau is 0.0.0.0.0. It doesn't mean crap Mr. Know It All. How dense are you? So you start counting at 0 but not at 1? LOL How dense are you? Even a 2 year old can understand that. For whatever reason how Mayan researchers passed that basic logic by to arrive at Dec. 21st, 2012 and not Dec. 16th, 2013 is beyond me. 0.0.1.0.0 or Year 1 is 13 Ahau. The whole 0.0.0.0.0 or August 13, 3114 BC is a reference point only. It is considered void. Wrong. Again, you don't start counting at 0. That is like our own Gregorian calendar beginning at 0. The Gregorian calendar, rightly so, doesn't include year 0 because there is no such thing. 2 BC, 1 BC, 1 AD, 2 AD. THAT IS HOW YOU COUNT A FREAKING CALENDAR. NOT 2 BC, 1 BC, 0, 1 AD, 2 AD. Remember, the Long Count Calendar went way before August 11th, 3114 BC. The 0.0.0.0.0 date just happened to fall on that date. Just think 0.0.0.0.0 is similar to the birth date of Christ in like the Gregorian calendar. The calendar went obviously long before Christ was born.
