going to be buying a new 9 mm pistol and my first rifle.
I'm not sure what to get.
I'm trying to keep it cheap aiming for keeping the total cost under 1000
i was thinking of a hi-point 9 mm pistol they are cheap and i only ever see good reviews of their pistol and carbine. but the carbine only has a 10 round magazine.
Check out an SKS first. Very Reliable, Very cheap to shoot. So far very cheap to shoot and buy. But I dig the Hi-point 9. Especially on a budget. They say they are tuff guns.
You might want to consider a good wheel gun. Like a Taurus 357. They can fire 357 magnum or 38 special shells. Revolvers are accurate and simple. You can also get speed loaders for very fast reloading. Plus 357 magnum has very good stopping power. Way better than a 9mm.
Also consider a tactical pump shotgun, Mossberg is always a safe bet in 12 gauge.
