You will have a spirit body that feels as real as your current body does now. You'll be in a different dimension, but it is as real and feels as real as this one.

Last night on Coast to Coast’s "End of the Mayan Calendar Extravaganza” show, one of the guests said “Ive been working on this as long as I’ve been dead,” if I heard him correctly. At any rate, there does seem to be a lot of new age stuff cropping up, like the OP, involving death.

The Psalms verse seems to provide textual support for death being a loss of consciousness event. Of course, that source will not suffice for every person interested in the issue.

Logically, empirical support for views about the post-death experience are impossible. Unless you count Near Death Experiences, which by there very name suggest you should not.

Thus, unless and until a resurrected decedent gives credible testimony on the condition of death, any viewpoints on the issue must be regarded as supposition.

Do we want to lose consciousness or don’t we? To perceive one’s own decomposition would likely not be enjoyable. Post-death consciousness, if any, is hopefully removed from the body.

Ostensibly, energy cannot be created or destroyed. Maybe death is when one’s energy separates from her differentiated consciousness. Maybe oblivion is only for some of us. It depends if you believe we were created or not and what the creator had in mind upon creation. Maybe you will be able to live in Spirit form and Physical form together. Like be with God in Spirit but also manifest to smile at your personal loved ones. If Spirit form is trully better than physical and that everyone would all agree that Spirit is way better than what was the point in everyone living in 3d to begin with knowing all would agree. Kinda defeats free will and all that. I dont think it makes any sense to learn how to do all the things here in the now to just then forget, forget your loved ones?
