Just looked right at it and no ring :(

I saw one in 2005 and one in 2003 that were just epic epic epic!!!

i did see the moon here in portland oregon and it was pretty normal except when the clouds went over it had lavender and red hues.

I don't wanna go out there.

Tonight, in Ohio, there was a odd looking moon. Had two rings around it, one ring was filled with a bluish color, then the outer ring was a reddish color. I got pictures with my cell phone. I just wish I knew how to post them here.

I have seen halos around the moon before, this one definately looked eerie. Wonder how many noticed this tonight?

my apologies for Double post! I also had the colors reversed. Inner ring was reddish, outer ring blue.

Yea I had never seen anything like that before but it looked reasonably explainable I so just enjoyed it.

It happened here in California last Friday night.

Saw it Christmas night here in New England - huge!!!

You are dead on with your weather report, where did you hear or learn that? Farmers Almanac?
