SEOUL, Dec. 23 (Yonhap) -- After examining a piece of the debris from a long-range rocket launched by North Korea, South Korean experts have concluded that the communist country in fact had tested its inter-continental ballistic missile technology, the defense ministry said Sunday.

i've been keeping my eye on them for a while

they have always been great interest

and there has been many many events that has made the doom light come on in the past...

but up until now... there hasnt been a long range missile involved lol

10,000 Km range covers much of the US

They have been really persistent (and defiant as well) about all these tests ...

Hopefully it will be a while before they have enough to do much damage. I mean, they could take out a city with one, but then again, I don't know much about nukes past the little I've studied about them

IRAN now has the tech too, why do you think the Iranians were there.

If IRAN ever tried a test launch of an ICBM they would be nuked, but if they work with NK and NK launches well no one so far has punched the retarded cousin yet.

I'm pretty sure NK's missile tech isn't up-to-par with our missile defense net, and something fired from that distance would be detected fairly soon enough to be shot down, and there's the other possibility posted ^ up there, that it falls back down on their own heads.

One day in spring we will wake up to a pre-emptive strike on both iran and north korea...

Thats why my eye is on them...

Do you really believe North K will attack US with its only rocket that only recently proved to be so-so successful in real flight, that needs days to prepare for flight and can be easily intercepted? and with one of the 12 self-made primitive nukes of Hiroshima style? While USA has hundreds of rockets and at least 2000 state of art thermonuclear weapons that could retaliate with at any moment? Do you think the North Koreans are that stupid? I don't believe that story. Rather Kim will invade Seoul by conventional 1.1 mln army. That is something real, because it happened once.
