Starting at the 8:35 mark the one can see in the lower frame of the video the Sun and the bright object in the upper frame, with in the purple hexagon is Venus. Watch as the Sun flares ... See the smaller pink hexagons light up? In my opinion, that is a plasma surge, not a Lens Flare.
