Why is it so difficult to find a comfortable pillow?

Buckwheat hulls are great. They help keep your head cool if you are prone to sweating (or, if female, hot flashes)you can easily adjust the firmness.

All in all a superior and cost effective choice.

i just use my cat as a pillow, the purring helps to send me off to visit the sandman.

A few Dr's that I know do not use them. I sleep with 3 pillows.

The most comfortable pillow I've ever had is the one that is flattened like a pancake from my fat head squishing it. I can't stand the fluffy ones, or the ones that weigh like 50 lbs, the ones with feathers in it that poke out and stab my head and face.

Pillows are bullshit!

I bought one of those 'memory foam' pillows that they claim is 'used by NASA' lol. It worked great for like 3 months then the memory foam, well, er, started to lose its 'memory'. What a shitty product.

We have nice ones here and they are found in chiropractices at the desk. Normal thick looking ones and are firm to the touch, no fancy shapes and secret sponges. See if you can get them there too.

The Science Channel is airing a program right now entitled "Egypt's Mystery Tomb", and they found a feather pillow in the sarcophagus under the head of the mummy it contained.

It supposedly was the first time they had found something like that and it indicated the person had a high social status.

I always wanted to try one of those body pillows, this way I can stop wadding up my blankie to cram between my legs.

Oh yeah..the body pillows are good. Pillow for my head not so good but I am a stomach sleeper so that makes a difference.

It is hard to find a good pillow. The best one Ive had is still comfortable after 10 years is DUNLOPILLOW latex. Its white latex with holes through it. Ive bought pillws up to $180 each...but still they hurt my ears. Im a side sleeper who doesnt move a great deal...for hours in the one spot apparntly so it REALLy fucking hurts thec cartilage in my ears without my favourite. I also took it all over europe with me so I wouldnt have to deal with other pillows.

Anyway...dont know if they make the dunlopillow range in USA.... Those memory pillows arent great, hurt my ears bigtime. Whats the point of it remembering how your head goes if it hurts you in that position?

Get a memory foam pillow once you break it in you will never want anything else.

Mine is pretty much flattened like a pancake and squashed beyond recognition. I have a tendency to put both my arms around it.

I gave up on trying to find the right pillow so now I just sleep on my arm. Sometimes it falls asleep, but it's better than waking up with bad pains in my neck.

The best pillow is no pillow.

The best bed is no bed.

the best pillow is a normal red house brick dipped in pine resin and rolled in broken glass. it takes a few days to get used to it but by the time your pillow gets through to the bone your dead to the world ;) trust me :D
