Anonymous Coward User ID: 29272893 United States 12/23/2012 12:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | documents can't be attacked, only criticised, and the ammendment to the one you refer to is the most criticised piece of legislation on the planet. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30662946 you going to deport all that criticise it ? The second amendment is on a document but is an inherent right. If people in foreign nations had a word for inherent, in their several languages, they would be able to understand the concept. In the United States, We The People understand, because we are fluent in English, that our rights do not exist by permission of a government or a dictator. They exist because they are INHERENT. Meaning, WE DON'T NEED PERMISSION TO EXERCISE AS A RIGHT. Shall we deport foreigners who publicly attack our inherent rights? You bet. If you don't get it, or won't get it, you don't belong here. Thank you, well said! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30594180 United States 12/23/2012 12:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's always hilarious to hear Americans complaining about 'foreigners'. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30520794 Essentially, you all are. It's a country based on immigration. Haha. Funny. Sounds like you're breathing in a little too much Fukushima. I was born here. My parents were born here. My children were born here. That makes us native Americans. I AM an American. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 30712465 Canada 12/23/2012 12:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Janus198 It's a matter of standing. Piers Morgan has no standing in the US to verbally attack the law of the land. What he is doing is the equivalent of me going to England, getting people on the television to interview and telling them they are idiots if they believe it's a good idea to keep the queen ensconced with their tax money. As an American, I would have no standing to do that would I? Oh wait, they have already banned journalist Michael Savage in England. You could do that over there and there wouldn't be a petition to deport you. He is protected under the first amendment just like the West Boro Bapist church is. What ever happened to "I don't agree with what you say but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. Bunch of fucking hypocrites. Demand people uphold one law of the constitution while simultaneously trying to subvert another. For the record, Piers Morgan is a swarmy cunt. Don't think I agree with what he says. The Westboro Baptist people are US citizens, protesting. Piers Morgan is a foreign national, on CNN, attacking the 2nd amendment and anyone who stands up for it in interviews. Foreigners do not have the right to attempt to dismantle the core law of the United States of America on the basis of free speech. Such activity is called sedition. Foreigners are protected by the constitution. ^^^^ This is correct. When Immigration grants a visa to a foreign national - ie. student, professional, vacationer - they are afforded the protections of the Constitution, including the right to Free Speech and technically the right to bear arms. |
higher state of consciousness User ID: 11722476 United Kingdom 12/23/2012 12:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: higher state of consciousness since when is questioning a law sedition? then no laws would ever be changed. its part of democracy to question outdated/stupid laws. The Constitution is not "a law" but "the law." It's the basis for our government and can only be changed by a convention of the several states and much more than just Piers Morgan's disapproval. It's the framework for our entire federal government and what ALL those elected to federal public office as well as the military swear to defent and protect--from all enemies both FOREIGN and domestic. lol...i know what the constitution is... my point remains, since when is questioning a law/part of the constitution sedition? or did you say a word that you dont really know what it means? piers morgan is a total idiot imo, but still he hasnt done anything wrong here, and to call for him to be deported is beyond stupid bordering on insane! it just makes you pro-gun people look very desperate. We are taught what sedition means in about the fifth grade of elementary school. You are the one who doesn't seem to grasp the concept. Here's one definition: Sedition is the stirring up of rebellion against the government in power. Treason is the violation of allegiance to one's sovereign or state, giving aid to enemies, or levying war against one's state. Sedition is encouraging one's fellow citizens to rebel against their state, whereas treason is actually betraying one's country by aiding and abetting another state. Sedition laws somewhat equate to terrorism and public order laws. And another from dictionary.com se·di·tion [si-dish-uh n] Show IPA noun 1. incitement of discontent or rebellion against a government. 2. any action, especially in speech or writing, promoting such discontent or rebellion. Why did Britian refuse entry by journalist Michael Savage? Shouldn't you be much more concerned with that than what we do in this country? If WE want to change OUR Constitution, then that should be strictly the choice of the citizens of this country and not the likes of Piers Morgan by any stretch of the imagination. lol you just proved my point. he isnt inciting discontent or rebellion against the US government, he's simply voiced his opinion...wake up ffs... and so wait a minute, you are saying that only americans can have an opinion on us laws? since when? thats nonsense! and the stench of hypocrasy from you is overwhelming! the usa has manipulated more governments around the world than any other nation, i mean you practically change governments as and when you please. you can interfere in governments all over the world but NOONE can even have an opinion on your laws??? |

Quoting: Bluebird Yelling "fire" in a crowded theater is also frowned upon. But why all the flak from the British who refused Michael Savage even entry into their country? And how about Ann Coulter receiving a formal reprimand from the Canadian government because of something she MIGHT say while speaking there? And yet these people come on here expressing their hatred for Americans because we don't want to allow this foreigner to subvert our laws! That's total hypocrisy. The petition count is 16,500+ now and growing very fast. since when is questioning a law sedition? then no laws would ever be changed. its part of democracy to question outdated/stupid laws. It's part of my country to question your stupid beliefs. Piers Morgan is not an American citizen and he has no right to attack his guests on an American TV show for his stupid beliefs he got from Britain. No wonder your country is an absolute police-nanny state. You are a slave, so crouch down and lick the hands of your government. You've brought it upon yourself and your fellow British slaves. Coming from the country that locks up more of its citizens than anywhere else on the planet. |

Again, your country locks up more of its citizens for longer than anywhere else. Look at all the incidences of police brutality. Half your country is addicted to prescription drugs. You have obesity problems, a broken healthcare system, $16trn of debt that your government doesn't seem to want to address. And you need guns to protect yourselves from lunatics with….guns... No one is going to take a deportation request seriously, but... Here's the thing. Why not launch a campaign to boycott Piers Morgan's show? He cannot ever come close to what Larry King achieved in his many years in that time slot. Many former fans simply tuned out after the first week of listening to Piers drone on and on with some boring guest. So... Why not push CNN to replace the guy? If he is unemployed in the near future, perhaps the idea of hopping back across the pond will occur to him. Hopefully no other network or 'think tank' will hire him and he'll go back to the UK where he belongs! Just my view as a Canadian... We all used to enjoy Larry King and his goofy suspenders. He was a broadcasting icon. Larry had an admirable habit of actually listening to his guests and asking them softball open-ended questions and, above all, never offending them or his listeners. I remember his grins and chuckkes and his natural skill at adding a touch of humor to lighten things up. :-) We all get CNN in our Canadian cable tv packages but I don't know anyone who is an ardent fan of Piers Morgan. They may have CNN on as background noise while they answer e-mail or they may watch the occasional program but, in general, most folks I know are either not regular P.M. fans or they just tune him out completely. We miss Larry. |
