Motion cannot truly exist. If you could zoom into matter way smaller than the subatomic scale you would eventually reach a point where matter could not be further subdivided, unless every particle is made of smaller particles forever. If the universe is finite there is some small scale where space is discrete, i.e. particles can only fit into distinct locations kinda like the x's and o's in tic tac toe.
