Yes one day DOOM will come to earth but not yet.

The Mayans never gave the date of doom and the end of life on Earth, etched on stones was about what life was going be like in 21 dec 2012 ,and if you compare there pictures and read there scripts then you can see us yes you and me,they talk about flying objects to DNA strands etc,it was the future they saw.

Its the book of life etched on stone by the Mayans, the real book of life.

Now you can see, now you read what the Mayans etched on stone,it was the future.

what utter bs. We actually know very little about the Mayans. Thousands of their books were burned by the Spanish. Only four books, or Codixes remain. The entire library of their knowledge was lost. Their entire vision, knowledge and prophecy wasy not inscribed on one rock. Imbecil.

Re: The Mayans where not wrong but first you must read there scripts as they where foretold
Actually what it happens is people give "opinions" without reading books but based upon superficial incomplete things here and there found in internet. People from this generation have seldom read books except the ones they were forced to read at the university to learn a task for a living.
Mayans did have knowledge about math and had incredible skills in architecture, metalurgy, craft of all kind, they foretold eclipses accurately. Problem is uninformed people were talking in their names as if they really knew.
Though I agree with the Spanish folk here saying his Conqueror ancestrals wiped out a lot of things, it's possible to understand others like Popul Vuh and some number codes related with the Sun, after all they were heliolaters or sun worshippers. In that sense you can read Maurice Cotterell's The Lost Pyramid of Viracocha which explains some links between Mayan, Peruvian and Egyptian civilization though not dealing with doom dates.

Regarding Popul Vuh, for the Spanish cocky fellow who writes here I wanna put an example: In Spanish if I wanna say "is there butter?" I say "hay mantequilla?" The PHONEMA or sound of that phrase is like saying "I meant to kill'ya?" if spoken fast. We use such equivalent sounds in every language. There are about 4000 Arabian words in Spanish, whenever in Spanish language they say "ojalá" (I hope!) it is an echo of thousand battles from Arabian phrase quoting Allah. Taking that into consideration read this and shut the fuck up with your ignorance writing as if you really know all secrets. Nobody knows so what you call impossible or BS is maybe improbable but we outta have open mind:
Thread: Popul Vuh....Mayan or Hebrew Exodus (Red Sea crossing included)?
With hallucinogenic substances maybe you won't find in your country, it's possible to see future and past, glimpses of reality which is subjective for whomever idiot who never had the experience. In spite of all techno you are not able to prove what was your dream yesterday night, it's subjective for science in spite of the fact everybody has dreamt during thousands of years every single night. Objectivity is something you can't always demonstrate. You can prove there's brain activity in some areas, certain alpha, beta, delta, theta waves, rapid movement of eyes beneath closed eyelids and period.

In fact here is something from a book about the Mayans and their predictions, and if anyone ever read the real Mayan prophecies, as well as looked into the calendars they would know this is real. Also you know how things in life that are chaotic turn your life upside down, this is what the turning of the world into upside down means, chaos, not pysical :

End of the World, 2012–2032

The Chilam Balam states: 'This is a time of total collapse where everything is lost. It is the time of the judgment of God. There will be epidemics and plagues and then famine. Governments will be lost to foreigners; wise men, and prophets will be lost.'

The katuns have a number of prophecies relating to the 'end of the world,' which comes at the completion of the Great Cycles. A katun lasts for 20 years, so a katun prediction covers the entire 20-year period.

The katuns refer to this time as the final days of misfortune at the end of the Long Count calendar. They predict earth changes in the form of storms, earthquakes, famine, and pestilence. In this time people lose confidence in religion, priests, government, and officials. In fact even the omens that connect the Maya to the gods are questioned. The omens themselves are said to be broken by the dishonor prevalent in the times.

In The Book of the Jaguar Priest, Maud Worcester Makemson translates from the Chilam Balam the actual events of the end times. From the sound of it, the Sacred Tree of Life itself falls. The days turn upside down, stones fall from the sky, and fire consumes everything. Many think this description sounds a lot like a massive super volcano and a magnetic pole shift where the earth actually turns onto a new axis. The description of the Sacred Tree of Life falling might describe the Milky Way changing position in the sky.

After speaking of great destruction and disillusionment, the Chilam Balam ends by saying, 'These are the words which must be spoken: the prophecies are a solemn trust from ancient times. They are the first news of events and a valuable warning of things to come.'

Having said that, my advice to O.P. is stop repeating the same statement unless you can provide specific details of what they left carved on stone. Yes, Lord of Pacal could well be interpreted as the depiction of a modern astronaut inside a rocketship rather than interpreting it was a god from the past. Specially because their gods were often hum-animal hybrid creatures. Sitchin and Daniken had seen bearded astronauts where others could see just Caucasian and other races visiting Yucatan centuries before it is thought by orthodox history. But certainly some carvings like Pacal do have a modern look.
Certainly Da Vinci or Jules Vernes could have vivid dreams about the future, why denying the possibility Mayans also could achieved that specially since we know they deformed their skulls, they tied wax little balls for the babies to become crossed-eyes watching them tied to their hairs in front of their eyes, they took mescal with chocolate (have you ever tried weed and eat chocolate at the same time?) and other things you couldn't ever understand. You, Spanish ignorant poster, you ignore the realms of magic, the same magic is practiced by the Illuminati you do believe, otherwise you wouldn't type in this sort of forum!

General statements just make obvious the ones writing them can't add nothing to the topic because they haven't read anything nor studied anything about them. It's known they had more than just one calendar and they worked as if they were gears. The very concept is interesting. Of course the mistakes are made because our own Gregorian calendar does have at least two huge errors and so it's difficult trying to fit two calendars which are different. Also modern interpreters do part from the basis we are accurate in our conclusions and not them. However our math does have ancient source including civilizations with the concept of 0 like Mayans....

Re: The Mayans where not wrong but first you must read there scripts as they where foretold
What most people don't know is that the Mayan description of the sky at the beginning of the next world does not match the positions of the planets in 2012. (The end date of their Long Count on 12/21/2012 was very specific, and may mark the year starting that day as the first year of bad times and bad changes, but...) What is shown in a Mayan drawing on page 72 of the Dresden Codex of the Popul Vuh matches late December 2019. The Maya also have a central mythology in which the Hero Twins fight the Lords of the Underworld before resurrecting their father, the winter solstice sun, One Hunapu. The Hero Twins' birth is described in an astronomical sense through the two bright planets, Venus and Jupiter, in an alignment which takes place in the right spot in November 2019. They must be born before they can complete their mission. Not possible for 2012. When the events from Mayan myth do finally occur, creation Lords like Bolon Yokte descend, presumably to re-create the Earth. A pole shift seems likely.

Egypt's Great Pyramid incorporates measurements of the Earth and is thought by almost all experts to represent the northern hemisphere of the Earth. It is also (by some people) believed to encode a prophetic timeline in its dimensions, in inches (which are actually an ancient unit of measurement; read John Michell.) The pyramid is incomplete without the top where the all-seeing eye would be, but if that top were in place it would be roughly 5780 inches high, perhaps representing completion (of the world) at that height. December 2019, when converted to the Hebrew calendar, will be the year 5780.

Far more convincing, the world can not end in 2012 according to Bible prophecy because the events of the seven year tribulation have not yet occurred. The Bible has many astronomical references. As the night sky is like a giant clock, describing a future night sky allows us to calculate the time/date when such arrangements will exist in the sky. With the sun as the groom, the earth as the bride, and other heavenly bodies representing the best man, the father, etc. - an ancient Jewish wedding ceremony is played out in the sky in great detail - starting December 21, 2019.
Many, many references indicate Christ comes back for His bride in 2019. That would mean any preceding seven year tribulation should start seven years earlier, and it may not be a coincidence that the Mayan end date is EXACTLY seven years earlier. Watch the Middle East. The biblical tribulation could start any time between six and seven years prior to 12/21/2019 and still have seven bad years, even if one is a partial year. Of course the sooner events occur (the closer to 12/21/2012) the more impressive the theory that the tribulation is starting.

I know most Christians immediately think of Matthew 24:36 warning us that we cannot know the hour or the day ahead of time. But there was a slight (but crucial) mistranslation of the original Greek word "oiden." It is a past tense verb, it means "has known" not "knows," as we see it in our Bibles. This merely means no one knew the time of the end then, in 33 AD. In saying that only the Father knows the time of Jesus' future wedding, He was also referring to the tradition that in any ancient Jewish wedding, the father alone decides when the son has satisfactorily completed the new addition to the father's house where the son will bring his bride to live as his wife. The groom cannot say when the wedding will be until the father informs him things are ready.

I have much more detail in my new book, End Times and 2019.

Horus, it's always a pleasure recognizing someone who does homework. I am gonna buy your book. David Flynn did a study about the year 2016 based upon Newton code. But that would be half of the week, three years and a half. You maybe right about the mistranlation of the word because prophets in Hebrew wrote about the future as something already happening so they wrote in past or past perfect equivalent. Specially Isaiah who wrote we gotta see the past to know the future which could be translated as reading backwards, since Hebrew is written from right to left and they used initial letters and acrostic and many codes.... this is something not to be overlooked.
Builders rejected the cornerstone but the very missing of the capstone is like the missing piece on a jigsaw puzzle which is evident from the human eye, is recognizable. So we can measure it. Isaiah 19 describes the theomatic code in Hebrew inches in the very verses dealing with God's altar in the middle/ frontier of Egypt (Mizraim), which is Pyramid's height!
Can you show me a pic from Dresnen code in the context you're sharing with us?

The Mayans did not forsee the future.

They did have very accurate extensive calendars though that marked epochs of astrological time.

Also you are right about Jewish concept about the sun, moon, stars and earth.
Christians like to quote Apocalypse vision of the woman dressed with the sun, with a crown of stars and the presence of the moon but very often they forget this was not related necessarily with Mary because Joseph had the same dream thousands of years before and both his parents represented the sun and the moon while he and his brothers were the symbol of stars... they kneelimg before him in Egypt.

Re: The Mayans where not wrong but first you must read there scripts as they where foretold
For reasons unknown, the History Channel folks turned their documentary "Nostradamus 2012" from a positive new-world beginning, end of cycle movie to a gloom and doom flick. Heard Jay Weidner, who was producer and writer of this movie who was just horrified when they took his movie and slashed it, replacing his message with theirs.

It was all in the fine print, I guess. They owned it and could make it whatever they wanted. He went on to create a counter film about 2012, but it never was released on TV (to my knowledge) nor has it had large circulation. I've never seen it at all.

Have been as curious as all get out why the History Channel folks (TPTB) wanted a failed doom date to permeate the public's consciousness. The only thing I can come up with is that there is some real danger ahead and they want us to be as numb to it as we are to Fukashima.

What do you think?

That's why I say if Dec 21 didn't pan out, boycott the History Channel and Discovery Channel. They deliberately created this phony story, even overriding their own producers to promote this crap. This was NOT a grass roots thing. And what about that stupid crappy 2012 movie? These guys are not just worthless, they are actively backstabbing us while pretending to be part of the pack.
