Re: The "ALMOST everything goes thread" (What would you like to talk about today?)
If someone could tell me how to get rid of this pain quickly, that'd be great. This will be the first Christmas in 5 years spent without my ex-boyfriend and his daughter. I raised her since she was 6 months old and there hasn't been a Christmas yet that she didn't wake up with my kids. Now, she will have to wake up all by herself. It sucks, bad. 2 days ago, she was begging me to spend Christmas there, and so was he. Now, in the last 2 days, he has a new girlfriend and won't let me be there. Keeping in mind...I left him, I get it, but sometimes people need to get their shit in order to see what is important.

Thank you. I love his little girl like my own though, I don't know what to do about that. I'm also not sure how one can be in love with someone, and 2 days later want nothing to do with that person.

I remember you were talking about this a pretty long time ago...

It's a situation where there's no solution but for you to move on and expel that element from your reality.

Of course you don't wanna hear that...

Sure, you only move on/change your reality if you want to spare yourself the constant emotional/spiritual sieve-style leak that goes on in this situation.

Sounds like you invested a lot more in this person than he ever did in you. Time for a change. Seriously, the best thing to do is drown yourself in self-pity for eight hours or so, do something embarassing, then realize that nothing is worth torturing yourself over. Especially if you are as hot as your avatar. There are plenty more guts out there.pigchef

Something for the ladies with little ones that have a twinkle in their eyes.

Reindeer food:

When setting out a plate of cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve, don't forget about his flying friends. Make a batch of magic Reindeer Food for kids to sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas Eve. To make the food, simply combine equal parts of oats and colored sugar or sprinkles. Pour into cellophane bags and seal. Attach the following poem to each bag.

Sprinkle on the lawn at night.
The moon will make it sparkle bright.
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam.
This will guide them to your home.

The oats are for the Reindeer to eat.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

That's my thinking as well. He still says today that he loves me, but has to push me away because I hurt him. I agree with that though, totally. You can push it away, but if it is real, it is impossible.

I love my daughters. I am proud of them. I am happy my father was cleared of cancer on Thursday. I am relieved that nothing bad happened on the "multiple" days predicted.

I start a new job 1/7. It isn't a dream job but it will do.

I am looking forward to Christmas this year.

Haha, I think I got it all out. That's everything I wanted to talk about :)
