Two years ago on April 27, we had 256 people killed in one day in just Alabama. There were other deaths throughout the region but the most were here in this state.

Since then, many of us are totally upset by the prospect of it ever happening again.

WKRG just confirmed 17,000 without power in Mobile area.

That second band of storms just now crossing the AL/MS state line looks as bad as that first one.

Some of the strongest rotation from possible large tornadoes are seen now on radar across southern Alabama [link to www.accuweather.com]

I completely understand. I'm a fellow Alabamian from Cullman. I lived through April 27, 2011 and never want to go through a day like that again!

Just heard weatherman on Huntsville station say the temp in Mobile is 70 ! Wow , saw the video looked like a big tornado.

The athletic building may be gone.
