Well, if you could read, you´d know that nobody said there´s an EQ after every Venus Transit. You´re rather trying to make it look like this was the assumption, when we´re just puzlling pieces together. And while we´re doing this we´re not behaving like an arrogant know-it-all, this is what fits you much better.

As you don´t seem to comprehend your own posted stuff, I´ll explain it to you:

You listed those huge EQs and asked what Transit happened before them, as if someone assumed, there would be a Transit before huge EQ, when it´s quite the opposite, what OP stated in his first post. That there seems to be a pattern emerging after Venus Transits. You twist it arround with asking what Transits happened before those huge EQ. Well, you´re not really good at stringent logical thinking, hm?

It´s not that hard to understand, so I assume, you like to mistake things.

And I know games of your likes too well, to be putting too much effort into wasting my energy on you.

You are spot on , the 28th of March is the day to keep an eye on. There will be plenty of trouble before that, specially in the form of torrential rains,floodings,high winds etc all over
the world. But around that date things will become worse in the form of earthquakes and specially meteorite showers.

Do you often make such unkind assumptions of others, or is this just a passive aggressive way to make a point?

Perhaps Brazil was just 'putting it out there' for discussion.

One should feel comfortable enough around their peers, that even off the wall, wide theories can be chewed on and discussed without having to worry about abusive language or derogatory opinion of others.

It seems much more beneficial to concentrate of what we AGREE on, than the default...other way around.

OP, does this mean venus is roughly opposite of where it was during it's june 6 transit?

I'm not sure, I don't think so, the Earth must be around the opposite position, in relation to the Sun, since it's around 6 months after the transit took place.

Venus takes 224.7 Earth days to complete one orbit around the Sun, so we'd have to do some calculation. It probably already crossed through its opposite position.

We had 18 Venus transits (got the 16 wrong) in the last two millennia starting with the transit of Mai 24, 1032, three of them followed (roughly six month later) by devasting earth quakes / vulcano eruptions.
3 hits, 15 misses.
I can't see any pattern in this - if you think otherwise, please try to explain it to me.

On the other hand we had 17 major earth quakes since 1900, one with a previous Venus transit.
1 hit, 16 misses.
Btw a point where we agree: Major earth quakes don't need a transit.


The Venus transit is something special, because there are only four in 243 years.
The Venus transit is nothing special regarding the distance Earth - Venus.

Every 583.92 days Venus is as close to Earth as it was at the transit. Why should especialy a transit trigger an event?
It would be more interesting to look for a pattern that matches close Venus-Earth approaches - if you find a significant increase in events, compared to other times, you may be on to something.
The Venus transit patter, as far as I can see, is just a stillborn child.

The orbital periode of Venus is not of interest here, because Earth follows Venus. The combined orbits are of interest.

As mentioned above the synodal orbit of Venus (the time when Venus will be at the same point regarding to Earth) is about 584 days.
191 days since the Venus transit = about 1/3 of the synodal orbit.
Distance Earth - Venus at the moment = 1,52 AU = about 230 million kilometers.
Venus is still moving away from Earth and from Earth view it moves closer to the sun.
It will be opposite of Earth in late March and then appear again as the evening "star".

I started this thread back on 6/7/12 after the transit of Venus in June this year.
Thread: Transit of Venus + 199 days and what do you get?

I did research into the past transit events and found that around 200 days afterwards a major event has happened. I do believe it will happen again and it is just a matter of days.

Didn't I just see a thread about Obama just leaving Hawaii. That Yuma thread also mentioned Hawaii and how they were worried about Hawaii cause the Volcano was acting funny and there was alot of Magma Movement.
