Here's a revelation for the thoughtless who seek to infringe upon the right of the individual to self defense because criminals kill people.

Murder is illegal, and yet, no law has stopped murder from being committed by the violent criminal.

IN fact, laws have not deterred the insane from stealing away children, committing heinous acts upon them and then murdering them in any number of horrendous ways. And, most of those ways do not include a gun.

No law stopped Timothy McVeigh from building a bomb and killing scores of people including some 20+ children.

The only law that truly matters exists and yet assholes find ways to kill innocents.

Criminals find ways to illegally obtain guns and other weapons.

But, it is the inalienable right of the innocent to obtain weapons in order to protect themselves, their loved ones and others that is under fire.

If they cannot stop murder from taking place in a society where some are armed, how will they ever stop murder in a society where only the criminals have arms?

We absolutely need armed guards in our schools.

[link to www.nationalterroralert.com]

Do any of you left wing pacifists have any idea how easy it would be for 1000 terrorists to cross our borders and stage a simultaneous assault on 1000 schools?

It would be trivial.

I want our teachers armed and trained to kill.

The world is a fucking disgustingly violent place. You want to be a victim? Fine. You want me to be a victim? Fuck off.

Yes, I know this. I also feel the Mexican drug cartel would slip across the border for their purposes as well.

All the gun carrying people I know, take it as a serious responsibility. They consistently go to target practice and clean their guns, etc:. I appreciate it.

What the hell everything he spoke was factual and actual, interviewer kept telling him why he doesn't support any gun restrictions and he said it, banning some guns or reducing mag size will not work people will always find a way around that by created there own magazines and other things, but he kept asking him, also the guy told him how he knows placing armed people in schools will work and he gave examples one of which was of Israel doing it and working, but the guy once again still kept telling him "how do you know it's gonna work" as if he didn't hear or understand the examples he gave.s.

What kinds of illness and death are caused by smoking cigarettes?

About half of all Americans who keep smoking will die because of the habit. Each year about 443,000 people in the United States die from illnesses related to tobacco use. Smoking cigarettes kills more Americans than alcohol, car accidents, suicide, AIDS, homicide, and illegal drugs combined.

Let's remember we are looking at only one facet of the problems society faces. Mental health is a huge issue and can be addressed through changes in our school curriculum, for one thing.

Wayne LaPierre speaks out on Meet the Press, today (Sunday) and tells why gun laws don't work and gives brilliant solutions.

I don't know why he hasn't spoken out like this before, but his ideas are based on knowledge of current gun laws and includes ideas other than gun control.

This is a great start to solving our problems. I would just add there are also things that can be done with our school curriculum and other things to help society develop better mental health.

However, for now, watch the interview.

Wayne LaPierre repeated his call to put armed officers in every school, he urged Congress to create a database of mentally ill, and he called Sen. Dianne Feinstein's plan to re-introduce an assault weapons ban a "phony piece of legislation.

LaPierre refused to support any new measures of stricter gun control, telling the interviewer that most of the existing laws on the books are rarely enforced.

"I know there's a media machine in this country that wants to blame guns every time something happens," "I know there's an anti-gun industry in this town." But of an assault weapons ban, he said, "We don't think it works, and we don't support it."

Watch the full interview here...there's much more and it will open your eyes. (Btw, I don't own a gun.)

HATE TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE, BUT THE DEMOCRATS[/b] HAVE BEEN IN CONTROL OF THE BUDGET SINCE GEORGE BUSH'S SECOND TERM. THE DEMOCRATS HAVE BEEN IN CONTROL OF MY STATE'S FINANCES--CT--FOR THE LAST 34 YEARS SOLID.

THE RESULT? WE ARE BROKE!!!!! VIRTUALLY ALL MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT HAS BEEN GUTTED IN THE NAME OF "PATIENT'S RIGHTS."

THEY CLOSED A MENTAL HEALTH HOSPITAL IN (OF ALL PLACES!) NEWTOWN. THEY "DECRIMINALIZED" THE MENTALLY ILL SO WE HAVE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ON THE STREETS THAT SHOULD BE INSTITUTIONALIZED.

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU SPOUT OFF ON THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT.

LET ME REPEAT THAT: THE DEMOCRATS DID THIS.
THEY WERE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE "RIGHTS" OF THE VIOLENTLY INSANE THAN THEY ARE ABOUT PROTECTING CHILDREN.
 Quoting: telling it straight

The Dems love to spend, they buy votes from the entitlement class. The Dem controlled Senate has not even passed a budget in the last four years, great job. The President of the United States is economically illiterate, he does not understand macro economics at all. He should at least bother to get a tutor or something, it's downright embarassing to listen to his ignorance. This country is spending itself into oblivion, and no one hears our cries. My parents' generation used to say "Make something of yourself" but these days it's all about foodstamps and section 8 housing vouchers. Bleh.

Well, I say if we didn't pay interest on our OWN money - such a foolish, ignorant, blatant give away to the banker elites and the families - And, if we would stop paying for everyones war all over the friggin planet. We COULD use OUR tax dollars, the money WE ALL GIVE ALL THE TIME to the Federal Govt - and actually give OURSELVES a raise, shore up social programs etc. But to say that we have NO MONEY is an absolutel LIE OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS. To brainwash the American people to debase their quality of life so that the rich get richer, the bankers can continue to steal and all the MONEY THAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS goes to Israel, or Iraq, Haiti, etc etc etc...Even Friggin Nasa. Until the PEOPLE of this country are cared for, have access to all the resources of a country existing in the 21st century - like clean water, health care, food, shelter etc etcetc. Then I say NONE OF OUR MONEY gets spent on ANYTHING else!!!! We have allowed the wealthy to control the argument, frame the talking points...and it is they who say we are broke, they who say we have no money for YOU, they who want to buy this country on wholesale, flat out - no questions asked.

We are absolutely positively living in a country OCCUPIED by too many that DO NOT have our interests in mind and heart. To say we need to FIRE many many people - and rehire true, home grown midle class americans is an understatement of biblical proportions.

If you want to do one thing this year. Start a campaign to FIRE your local representative and replace him with someone from the working/middle class and NOT the wealthy! Period!

Thank you.

I'll give a little intro to the video. It is a San Jose police officer who has lost partners so he understands the emotions surrounding gun control.

The video is on the truth about "Assault Rifles", and how mainstream media and society gives many normal semi-automatic rifles the misnomer of "Assault Rifle".

Semi-automatic rifles are not the same as "Assault Rifles".

This instructional video teaches you the difference between "Assault Rifles", and common semi-automatic rifles available to American citizens nowadays.

i mean, we already have gun regulation like:

1. no shooting off 12 pounder napoleon cannons on your front lawn.
2. no sawed-off shotguns.
3. no walking around with sticks of dynamite in your hip pocket.
4. etc.
