3 mins from first to last gunshot.

there is no friggin way the cops
can get to the scene, search an
entire school and take out Lanza
in 3 mins.

a SWAT Team couldn't even do that
if they were on-site when it started.

The chief is a moron. He was 20 children too late, he stopped nothing.

When he heard the sirens he knew they'd kill him so he did it himself. So the chief is correct in saying their response stopped him.

they have told Eric Holder to stay the hell out of this case?

I'm sort of wondering how teachers could :
1) realize there is a threat
2) round up their kids and get them hidden
3) secure the hiding place

in LESS than 3 minutes

The teacher who successfully hid her kids in the bathroom was in
the FIRST room. So she had, maybe, 30 seconds ? That's not possible.
Unless Adam (or whoever) walked right by that room because he knew
which room / teacher he wanted to get to.

in occurrences such is these, the best hope any police
department ever has is that they will be able to
keep the casualties down to less than 50.

If their presents stopped the shooter. Then if they would have had an officer at the school that would have prevented the act before it happened. NRA dude is right.

no. i'm talking about all of the government officials
of the town of Sandy Hook.

I would love them to show where all their officers were at the time of the shootings and then say why they couldn't spare an officer at every school. We could easy live without a few traffic stops. And for as them stopping the shooting that is BS. People bleed to death waiting for the police to enter the building at Columbine, the first police arrived at 11:24 am and they didn't enter the building until 1:00 pm. Same thing happened several times before. In New Haven, Conn. Jennifer Petit 48, and her daughters Michaela, 11, and Hayley, 17 were raped, murdered and set on fire while the police waited outside for about an hour refusing to enter. The same thing would have happened here, there is no duty for the police to help and that has been proven in court cases. Like someone said above, if just their presence would have stopped him why are they so against having someone stationed at the school.

I guess he found 18 of the children huddled in a closet, and just shot them all as they were huddled in the closet, so it wasn't like he had to hunt them all down.

some of the bullets may have gone through more than one child.
