When you enter into one type which is just self oriented it will never stop your suffering. It will soothe the wounds temporarily and distract your focus from your suffering, similar to a drug. The other type of relationship which is oriented around God, Truth, and the submission to a Divine order will heal. Suffering is ongoing through life so either you find a partner who understands the dynamic or resign yourself to a different level of connection though more "workable" This is my opinion. I have also observed that the second type is the focus of extraordinarily destructive forces. |

This is my Achilles Heel. We learn from ALL experiences, both the good and the bad experiences equally well. Try to view this a little more simplistically if you can. Try to understand that suffering is a very personal thing. Until we begin to understand that the pain will only end when we see this reality in a new way. Not as victim or as this is all happening TO us, but that we drew these experiences to us for a reason. The reason, so we can learn from them. I know that quite deep there, but try and think about what I have said here. Peace Well I appreciate your kind words, but the truth is that I am very happy with my life. I understand that everything that I have to be unhappy about is from my own doing...as is everything that I have to be happy about. I try not to ever think of myself as a victim, except as one of my own creation. And while I may have no real 'future' with this online person, I will be forever grateful that I met him, that I came to know him, and that I can call him a friend. Hopefully we can work something out, someday. |

Do you want to compare my life to yours so you can see how yours stacks up against it? You have no clue what I am trying to tell you. To need to compare your life to mine is a sign that you are on the wrong path. It is completely ok to be with people at times and enjoy their company, but if you "NEED" them or expect them to "NEED" you, then you are no more than a leech. To need others for so called "support" or friendship or for companionship is just a good sign that you miss the whole point of my message. But that's ok. Maybe some day you will... Peace |
