The girl in the black-and-red dress in the Obama photo is obviously the same one as in the family photo. The caption on the family photo says that this is "Emilie on the far right." Some have claimed that the newspaper simply got the caption wrong, that the family photo is old, and that the Emilie is the red-dressed girl in pigtails. But the official photo of Emilie on that same page looks more like the black-and-red girl.

Someone has pointed out that the family photo itself is highly unprofessional. No professional photographer would place the black-and-red girl all by herself instead of embraced by her parents. One could even wonder whether she was photoshopped into the picture later...
