Almond dinner - bad idea

About a year ago I drank a whole bottle of Disarrono. Neat.

I puked for days, and I could taste almonds for days. I can still taste it.

Don't think I ever want to go near an almond again.

Not almonds, but Brazil nuts will mess you up. Do not pig out on Brazil nuts

Don't eat too many nuts at one time. They are powerful stuff and contain natural insecticides among other things. They are very good for you if you eat them in moderation at regular intervals, but don't binge.

Nuts will do that - I have yet to learn my lesson. :)

Stir fry them with some green beans, carrots, onions and a little chicken or pork next time. Use coconut oil, salt and lots of ginger.

I ate a whole can of mixed nuts and it gave me an appendicitis. I was sick for weeks.

Took antibiotics and got over it, but would not recommend eating a big 2 pound can of nuts if you have an appendix.

Dude, almonds contain hydrocyanic acid (in small traces of course ) but the more you eat, the more it cumulates... eat almonds carefully

Too many nuts can cause heartburn and/or acid indigestion. Has happened to me with almonds as well as others.

Change up to pistachios for a little bit, or mix them in.

The sad thing is raw almonds have a protein B17 that is well known for its anti cancer/cancer curing properties, which is great if you live outside the US. In the US it is law that the almond must be treated this effectively kills the B17, thus allowing it for sale to the public.

Unfortunately no, when the us gooberment discovered how effective it was against cancer they raided all the stockists and shops selling it, and introduced laws that prohibit the sale of raw almonds. All US raw almonds must now be treated by law. I dont think you can import raw almonds too. Sad hey

Foods that are painful and may cause internal organ attacks, distress. Do not eat nuts, dairy (cheese, butter) or bananas on an empty stomach. Some wheat and corn as well. The first 3 especially can cause gall bladder or pancreatic attacks.

you can get raw almonds in the US. But they are all treated.

You can get raw almonds with a bit of work dealling directly with farmers. That's what I do.
