I agree with you , we supposed to be on solar maximum from Mid 2012 towards the end of 2013. At the moment the sun is however very quiet. The cycle was anticipated to be very weak when compared with the previous solar cycle, however the reality was even worse than the anticiped data: [ link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] As a side note, some specialists think we already passed the maximum and also the next maximum might be missed all together. If this is the case, a mini-iceage would not be a surprise..
