Yup. Dead serious. Just like all sugard become glucose before going through the krebs cycle. Glucose is the main sugar, only glucose is needed. Lysine is the main amino acid. Meaning all you need is lysine from a natural source.

Ever notice monkeys live on berries like raisins? That is all they need. All our bodies need is lysine.

But these must come from a natural source or the route through the metabolism will noy be right due to the frequency between hydrogen bonds. Like a dipole moment.

WOW. Didn't know this.

So, you're saying that an ADDer sufferer doesn't need to supplement with L-tyrosine... just take L-lysine.

If this is true, then nobody should develop any cold sores (antagonist to L-arginine). But they do.

Taking lysine lessens or stops cold sores from happening. Lifelong sufferer here.

Natural sources of L-lysine:

Meat, eggs, fish and dairy !!!!

Not to many red blooded Americans missing their L-lysine!

I know that. I take it.

If I understood him correctly, OP said that ALL aminos are lysine first/before converting to a protein. If that's true, then supplementation shouldn't be necessary. We shouldn't be having cold sores because we would have a constant supply of a lot of lysine (since ALL aminos are lysine before becoming protein).
