The coiled serpent eating its own tail. Infinity. Quoting: Thor's Hamster makes me think about how existance is possible only be perpetuating the lie, the something is indeed something, but the truth is that existance is nothing, within nothing. for god, purpose must be invented. experience, progress, attainment - these things are unavailable to god. only limited beings may experience, progress, and attain. such things require distinct subject and object, and god is both. (what does god wish to achieve? he has already achieved everything. who will god talk to? he is everyone and everything. where will god go? he is everywhere.) so yes, existence is only possible through lying to ones self. although, i also do not think non-existence is possible. so lying to ones self is essentially involuntary, and thus is not lying. one must learn to accept paradox it seems. |

But I also like the way you described it in your introduction- brought it all together- the science and the holy teachings- they should never have been separated one from the other in the first place. :) |
