He was on TV saying he was a retired psychologist who invited into his house to hug stuffed animals those 6 kids who escaped from Sandy Hook, thanks to their courageous teacher Victoria Soto (the one with the Facebook memorial page posted 4 days before the shooting).

An earlier thread threw some doubt on his story.
