I hate christmas shopping as an obligatory ritual. I hate spending my money on useless crap. I hate getting useless crap trinkets. Some of my friends are smart and they gave me food for gifts and that was great....Hickory Farms cheese and sausage and honey mustard....all yummy and useable. I have one friend who gave me 12 dollars worth of trinket junk........several items.......none of which I can use or will use. It was a waste of her money. She told me I don't know what to get you. When someone tells you that they don't know you really and they are just gifting out of obligation. (so maybe this isn't a friend after all...friends usually KNOW you, right? Those gifts I would rather not even receive. Christmas is nothing anymore than a commercialized spending frenzy. Stupid people. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 30421335 12/23/2012 11:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yep.I stopped the commercial Christmas shopping also. No longer going to contribute to large illuminati corporations who want to kill us/send us to camps. I have been looking for a slow cooker for my home. Was trying to locate one that is not made in China. No luck so far. I try not to buy anything made in China at all and that in itself is a job. Why would I want to leave a crock pot made in China plugged in while I'm out? I know what their electronics (alarm clocks, etc.) are like. Anyhew, thanks for letting me vent that. About obesity I can only say how very sad it is. I think it's not only what people eat but all the preservatives contained in our food. That junk food is not satisfying and causes people to crave more food to try to get satisfied again. I read once that when John Wayne died, he had 50 lbs of undigested food in the lining of his stomach and that it was preservatives from food. Not saying at all he was obese. He was however a very large man. I don't always eat organic but try to be mindful like that because it pisses me off that the illuminati food companies stick that crappy stuff in foods for sheeple consumption. Don't really care for meat much. Things are not like they used to be when my grandfather butchered his own cows. |
