Used to I could pick up a couple 25 shell boxes at Wally World for 5 or six bucks a pop and I'd be good to go for a spell.

The first paying job my grandad got was shooting deer at a wood cutting camp/cattle ranch.

He got 5 rounds of .22 long rifle and was expected to get 5 deer with them.

And, if you do not have hunting ammo already in your house, you are a damn fool.

I'm good for deer but need shotgun shells for small game. Man they're sold out everywhere. I saw a lot of #4 turkey loads but that's about it.

Shooting an animal is not hunting. Wrestle a 12 point buck down to the ground and I will idolize you for the rest of my life.

quail/dove loads should still be easily available. Go to a different store.

It's quite ridiculous. I had to wait for payday before I could go to the gun shop. I wanted to pick up some 9mm and some .22lr and maybe a 100 count of 12 ga.

they only had subsonic .22lr left! And they only had 4 boxes. So I bought them.

5.56 gone
7.62 gone
9mm - gone
.45 gone
12 ga shells - gone

they did have .17hmr and 22 magnums and .22 shorts

pistol case - nearly empty
gun rack - lots of hunting rifles and a bunch of old single shot shotguns.

I'd like to pick up a 9mm pistol to go with my sterling but it could be a challenge finding one now.

I tried Wally and I tried Dick's... wait that just don't sound right.

I WENT to Dicks. They only had some 20g. They had some #8 skeet in 12g.

lol. Skeet loads should work for small game just fine. I'd buy them and use them.

I can, but I don't like the smaller shot through branches. Too old for birds now except for turkey.

I've got one and she kisses me on the nose when I wake up. One of the best dogs I've ever had. Yep, my pitt is a snuggle bunny.
