The parents in my town allow their knuckle dragging, low IQ, inbred little shits to run around acting like animals in the store also. Wrestling, breaking stuff, poking their fingers in meat wrappers, screaming, cursing, playing hide and seek, etc. I hate going into stores with these monsters on the loose.

It makes me want to grab their ears and drag them outside for a well deserved ass whipping.

I expect that in 10 years or so, we're going to have a major problem on our hands. If these sorry ass whelps can't be controlled by parents while they are young, they will be beyond our belief as an adult. We can thank the fucking liberals for their intervention into our lives and schools. This is THEIR vision of a utopian society. ASSHOLES.

When I was a kid in the 60's/70's A.D.H.D. and all of the other childhood diagnosis going around did not exist. There was always one or two kids that were a little more hyper or misbehaved but that problem usually got nipped in the bud by the parents and/or teachers.

You dont know the full story so you cant say that. What if the child was put on psych meds?

The Education Department PUSHES for more "special needs" kids. The schools in my area get $3000.00 per year fore each "special needs" kid. It's a money making scam like abortion.

Yikes! I can't even imagine what my mom would have done to me if I had ever acted like that. I was raised with manners and taught to respect people. I was not even allowed to call an adult by their first name. If I had ever defied an adult like that, I would not only have gotten a switchin but I would have gotten a looooong lecture to boot followed by getting grounded. It's sad to see kids so out of control. I guess my generation was one of the last to be taught respect.

Amen!!! I believe wholeheartedly in a good old fashioned ass spanking!!! "Time-outs" are ridiculous. Putting a little fear in your kids does teach kids that there are boundaries and consequences (REAL consequences) to their behavior. It helps them to understand and learn this very basic lesson and teaches them to put their own boundaries around their own behavior as they grow up. Parents today do nothing to limit behavior in children today. They let them do whatever they want. Wellllllll, when they get to be twenty and have no internal boundary setting mechanism and have been inundated with violence on t.v., video games, etc. (another major fail on society/parental side)...we get what we now have....lost youth.

THIS is why schools are being shot up. We don't need better gun control, we need better parenting!

Spookems and white parents are the worst. The lower the income and closer to big cities the lower quality parenting usually.

I live in a poor county of Florida and even here, with very low income folks (99.5% white) they still don't let their kids act up. Parents here have their children address folks as "Ms X" or "Mr X" and there is no acting up while eating out or running around like a jackass in the store.... good manners.... BUT... RURAL and COUNTRY FOLK. Totally different attitude.

Even the teenagers here (I know a miracle) tend to be polite and address people (even each other) with respect and general manners.

Now, on a contrast go to Orlando... or Tampa. TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE.

For myself the best combo I have found is HIGH PERCENTAGE WHITE AND RURAL. Makes for good living. Even the few latinos that live here act the same... totally polite and no crazy behavior. We have VERY few blacks in the entire county (a thousand maybe) and they all live in one small section of one town in the county... and they stay there. They do not act up because they know the folk here won't put up with it. However, aound 72% of the jail population is black. Go figure.

Oh BTW, this is also the county with the highest number of firearms per person in the State of Florida.... and we don't go around shooting each other..... :) Zero firearm deaths here this year. Basically it is accepted that EVERYONE has a gun on them at a given moment.

One of the bar owners and I were talking a few weeks back about firearms and he made a joke laughing "Anyone one stupid enough to try to rob THIS bar would have a big surprise. You know damn near every one of these boyz in here is packing, probably two. LOL". He was serious but the most interesting part about it...??? It made him feel SAFER. Now ask a bar owner in Detroit or Orlando or Tampa or Atlanta if he wants all his customers to be ARMED.... LOLOLOLOLOL

Obviously, children learn their behaviors from their parents. Scary stuff....

This is why our society is falling apart. Everybody thinks their kids are free to do what they want. These are the kids who grow up and shoot up schools. Isn't it weird how things have gotten to this point in the past decade or so? It's a culture issue... not a gun issue. Parents need to raise their kids right and raise them like parents, not as friends.

I belong to the latter. I have sacrificed much keeping up with the jones' to be a mother. I believe having a(good) man around is important too. Especially for daughters.

The system tells you, you can't yell at a child (verbal abuse)or spank a child (physical abuse). Then, when the child turns out to be an undisciplined little brat, the system will say you were a bad parent for not disciplining your kids.

I work part-time retail and sometimes have to work the fitting rooms.
The restrooms are in the fitting room area and I have to push a button on the wall to allow customers access.

From hipanics--children and adults--I hear "May/Can I use the restroom?" And as they exit they either smile or say "thank you".

From most whites I hear "Open the door for me" or "Let me in the bathroom" or they just grab the door handle and start jerking, pulling and griping.

As for the children, the majority of tantrums are thrown by the white kids.
The hispanic kids more often than not will say "ma'am", "please" and "thank you".
The white kids stare at you like you're from another planet while the mom is telling them to say "thank you" for whatever.

And one other comment--remember when everyone was torn up over the language thing?
Well, when I talk to the hispanic school children, they sound just like they were born here (and I know many were).
No accent at all. Just like any other local hillbilly.

The store shouldn't have had a display built thats easily breakable. The wine glasses should have been in boxes with only the top row open.

Having had a kid who through a major fit in the store - said kid was marched out and didn't get to go into stores anymore. For years. Who needs that kind of grief. Now said kid is very considerate of retail workers and insists on kindness when in a store. Lesson learned.

I saw something similar at mt local Wal Mart the other day.
I was trying to check out when this seven or eight year old little boy starts screaming and yelling at his Mother.
He wanted some toy, she wouldnt buy it for him, so he starts yelling, "You bitch, I hate you, Daddy told you to buy it for me".
Five minutes, thats all I would need to change his outlook on life.

I was on a date in a nice restaurant treating my GF to a $200 dinner. Two boys around 8-11 were running laps around the table while their parents were totally oblivious.

I discreetly walked over to the father and whispered to him, could he do something...He gave me the queerest most offended look I had ever seen.

I then asked for the manager who did nothing...

After 10 more minutes of this I just yelled at the top of my lungs..."SHUT UP!!!"....

The whole place went silent including the two brats who were lapping the table.

NOW, the father turns beet red and puts his palms on arms of the chair like he's gonna stand up. I stood up and he sat back down.

After all of this, a 80 yo lady sitting next to us leaned over and said "You just did what we all wanted to do"
