My spiritual teacher told me not to expect immediate changes on 12/21/12

She said to envision time as a wave. In the last age, we were literally in hell on earth. As we approached 12/21, we were reaching the bottom of a wave. At the transition, we started the upward swing towards heaven on earth.

She said that the true golden age on earth is still about 1000 years away. But, she said that things are always the worst before dawn. The fact that we reached the bottom-most point means that every moment from here on out will be filled with relief from the pain and grief we all experienced.

This made me feel good because I didn't know how to put 12/21 into perspective. There was so much anticipation. Just knowing that things will progressively get better just as things got progressively worse in the past age gives me much hope.

She said that most of us have had thousands of lifetimes just here on earth. We will all be around to experience the best of what is to come. She also said that in the near future (not this lifetime), our bodies will be able to sustain themselves almost indefinitely, so we won't have to go through the trauma of childhood.
