In less than 5 hours our Christmas begins here in the Philippines. By 12:01am the 25th (night of the 24th) our time the first presents are opened.

The children are running around like crazy now in anticipation. The neighbors are shooting off fire works early, and everyone is in great Christmas cheer. Massive food of all types is on the table, and more being prepared over the next few hours.

Its amazing the loving, family, kids, friends are all here, in this most poor third world country.

Our gifts are exchanged. Cost per gift less than 5 bucks. That's all most can afford. And it is the most exciting part of the evening to get that gift and give the same.

For the rest of the evening we sing, play games, watch the children. and eat all the wonderful foods everyone helped make.

By 4am we will all pass out and sleep blissfully through most of the day of the 25th.
