I prefer a bow and arrow any day over a gun. Much more quiet. But yes much of what has been on the shelves is being bought up fast. Thank Goodness we bought ours back in October so we would have plenty for hunting. I still have 3 boxes left over, so hid that in the safe.

However so far no one has gone into schools and public areas shooting anyone with a 12 gauge, when they do and try and ban those guns. I will be shooting someone in the backside when they try and take mine.

This is what feeds us yearly, no gun means no food. Now I wouldn't worry about my kids getting a hold of any of my rifles, #1 they are all under lock and key. However my kids can down a man without a gun in hand. My 9 year old daughter can take down a grown man with all 15 basket balls that she has. And my 14 year old son knows how to throw soft balls at people and tree limbs. We have taught our kids well on protecting them selves with what they can find handy.

For those of you who have access to Gander Mountain, they have plenty of ammo and its reasonably priced. I bought 11,500 9mm rounds. When the SHTF, I'll be ready and waiting.

Been searching on line for ammo in sizes bigger then 20 per box. Nothing to be found. Sold out. I went to Cabelas in my town yesterday. NO AMMO in 200, 500 or 1000 round blocks.

In all the years I have shopped there this is the fist time I have ever seen them out of larger size boxes of Ammo.

My usual online stores are all sold out as well.
