I have reduced the stress in my life and the extra beats have virtually stopped...more than two years. I've been taking beta blockers since I first dicovered the condition. Finally it was caught on an EKG, and yes it was my heart attempting to add an addition beat, and boy do you feel it !! My son has a condition called SVT, another type of arrhythmia (dangerous, but resolved), and his pediatrician told him to cough hard, or bear down and it would restart the rhythm. Coughing works for me everytime. That was 20 years ago, and all has been well ... however I have developed a rush of blood, dizzy feeling after an episode now in the last year. Probably doctor worthy ... Still weighing out the pros & cons ... my family's home VS medical treatment ???? Well since it has been 20 years since I could afford to see a Dr, guess it can wait a little longer  |
