In the end you will find Bill Spengler was a convicted felon who killed his grandmother with a claw hammer in 1980. Did 7 years in prison and has been a problem in the community since then. He shared 191 Lake Rd with his sister who I am sure will be discovered killed prior to the fire being set. This was an ambush by a convicted felon who should have never been out to harm anyone again. What good are "new" laws if we are strictly enforcing the laws we already have and treating criminals harshly. Bravo to whoever decided Bill Spengler was no longer a threat in 1986.
