We should rejoice like the angels did that night when Jesus was born in the ancient city of Bethlehem long ago. Our hearts should be filled with joy because that Child was and is the Savior Christ the Lord. The important thing is that He WAS born--that there was one day chosen by our Creator and Heavenly Father where He fulfilled His promise to send a Savior to redeem humankind from our sins. We should be thankful that we still HAVE a day that provokes some of us to pause and meditate on this miraculous birth and why He was sent to us. There may come a day when we will no longer be able to speak vocally anything about our Lord and Savior. We should take every and any opportunity we can to proclaim a day of His birth, because it really happened and we are to keep that reality and truth alive! If this is the day that is commonly known and revered by most as the day of His birth, then this is the day I will proclaim that a Savior was born--unto us, a Child was given. You shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) Thank You, Jesus, for all that You've done and continue to do. :luv2: May this Christmas bring a revival of the Holy Spirit into our hearts as in the first day when we accepted the Lord Jesus into our lives.
