I am a lawyer and I can inject some sense into this situation even if America wanted to deport Mr. Morgan ,it couldn't because it would be a fundamental violation of human rights and it would be a violation of several US laws as well as international conventions . In fact it would be legal for Mr . Morgan to sue the creators of this petition for slander among other major and minor offences.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30738753 Right. A lawyer who can't properly form or complete a sentence or spell correctly. As an attorney, which I'm sure you are (sarcasm), you should be well aware of another part of the 1st Amendment. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." NOTE: This applies to U.S. Citizens, not foreign nationals here on a guest/work visa. The person who created this petition is well protected under the 1st Amendment as well as those who signed it. Mr. Morgan is not. Quoting: CatBTX you're wrong! the person that started the petition is protected under the 1st amendment, as are all the people that signed it, as is piers morgan...
