The first amendment is important... but you can't use a right guaranteed to you by the constitution to infringe upon the rights that others are guaranteed by it. I would imagine that having nasty lies spread about you might hinder your rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness... mostly the last one.

While Piers Morgan can sue for defamation of character ,I have just reviewed what you said and it looks like Piers himself could be guilty of espionage and treason which could warrant his deportation since he is a foreign national

Bear in mind that:
Treason is subversive of the government; there is High Treason, as well. ('treason' meaning; subversion of the rights of citizens as well).

Espionage, is snooping in violation of trust. Trust is designated by the Constitution.

Treason can be an action that is perpetuated by espionage.

American citizens are protected from charges of espionage, by the rights of the First Amendment, since it guarantees that the population of citizens are to be kept informed via a Free Press and remain active within the workings of the government.
