It's not good to boast.

Matthew 6:1-5

6 “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

The pawns are in place, the stage is set. The question is, are you ready?

Righteous anger and Zeal does not equate to hate, pride or arrogance and are fully justified.

Soon, all the slaves will be released, for the Jubilee approaches.

I read in the local newspaper coming up to one Christmas a single parent had been burgled and all the child's toys had been taken.

I took my last £70 out the bank and spent it on toys to give him

Re: List Your Random Acts Of Kindness Here!
Excellent thread, OP. One of the goals of the NWO is to get everyone so worried and scared of end time prophecy and disasters that they stop loving each other, and thus don't make it into heaven.

My recent random acts of kindness:

I paid $4 for half the price of a church sale bicycle to an illegal immigrant who needed a bike, but could not afford the $8 for the used bike.

I gave a homeless one armed veteran $20 after he washed the sand off my feet in South Beach Fl... He was really nice and sweet and had just lost his mother to cancer.. He then turned on the foot washer as I exited the beach, and said Ma'am let me help you wash your feet. When I realized he had just done such a christ like thing, I gave him money for dinner. Im probably a sucker but, I had just heard a sermon about Christ needing to WASH ALL OF US, including our feet, and then this young homeless vet with one arm out of the blue washed MY feet using his good arm!

I wrote out a $125 christmas check for a child I support in the Philippines-- I know it will get there late, but at least I am faithful with the gift.

I encouraged a cashier at Home Goods to be allowed to say Merry Christmas-- not Happy Holidays.

During the Hurricane Sandy 1 week power outage, I left the hose out for my neighbors, and invited them to use my shower (which was working since I have a generator.) Nobody took me up on my offer, but at least I tried to be kind to them.

I gave the last pair of beautiful crystal earrings on sale at Christmas tree shop (in my cart)to a lady who wanted them.

I invited my Dad and step mother AGAIN for Christmas, even though never come to see me and always refuse the invite.

Re: List Your Random Acts Of Kindness Here!
My daughter and I pooled together and bought thermal outerwear, innerwear, gloves, wool hats, and socks and gave them to a local soup kitchen. No christmas tree or lights,no gift giving to those who already have things they don't really need.No santa claus,no feeding into corporate greed,no stress, and my gift received is a father who gets to enjoy watching his daughter walk a good walk.... Matthew25:31-40 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ [link to www.youtube.com]

Re: List Your Random Acts Of Kindness Here!
I cleaned out my small freezer. Took everything out and resorted.

I found a turkey and a turkey breast that was two years old. I had already gotten another one......so I gave the turkey(s) to my neighbors. This neighbor only has work in odd jobs and there are two roommates. This past week they had their water turned off but did get it back on same day.

So I gave them the turkey(s) so they would HAVE a christmas dinner... a turkey for Christmas dinner. It felt good.

I also found two rump roasts in the very bottom of the freezer that were both 3 years old and badly freezer burned.

I gave those to a different neighbor for his dogs.
(don't give me any grief about this). If you had wanted them and been close enough to me you could have had them if you wanted them).

I am trying to develope a community/neighborly feeling in the court where I live. Since I moved here (in the beginning) the neighbors just kept to themselves but now they are helping each other with little things....and sharing work/jobs/food. It feels good. They are "lending a hand" but not expecting anything back....by not expecting they receive.

None of the above really qualifies for paying it forward or actually a random act of kindness but it still felt good.

Re: List Your Random Acts Of Kindness Here!
I too, felt funny about listing these but I guess it is ok since we are anon. There is a lot of love and joy left in the world and as another person said, we need to continue to bring love to the forefront instead of fear/hostility of and towards others. I talked to my first graders about this time of year trying to be especially kind to others and about random acts of kindness. They were so cute. They would do nice things and later come tell me to let the others in the class know. Oh well...it was the thought that counts.

What my husband and I did:

Paid off two layaways for ladies with children at Kmart

Always buy coffee for the person behind us when we go to Starbucks drive through just to make their day a little brighter

Put $1000 in a friend's mailbox to help with bills/Christmas for her kids since her husband has leukemia and is unable to work

Purchased Santa toys for two children in my class who have parents out of work

Any good deeds done down here on earth are considered treasures, stored in heaven.

Once one talks about those good deeds to others then they take there treasure from heaven and convert it to an "atta boy" here on earth.

So please people,, dont do as the title of this thread sugests. keep your good deeds between you and the lord. Its
better to store in heaven than accept false accolades from such a sinner as man.

Wow......no need to be sarcastic.

Giving is a hallmark of selflessness (being in service to others) not egoism (being in service to self).

There must be lots of unhappy people out there in the world
and some of them found their way here to this thread.

Re: List Your Random Acts Of Kindness Here!
Why does telling someone/sharing have to become something negative.

I think this kind of sharing is that a person feels so much joy that they then want to spread that joyful feeling too.

Why does something good have to be turned into something bad?

Sharing the joy one feels comes from the heart in the right spirit. .......not to be bragadosious.

It all has to do with the intent of the heart and what goes on in your mind.

If I share my joy but you perceive it in a jealous way or a negative way or come back with slurs and sarcasm....then the burden in on you not me. I meant it to be uplifting and you make it almost something evil.

How pathetic.

I did not name names nor give addresses so these people are not known to you.

If you view things this way then no one should ever tell anyone who others were helped even under the guise of even giving them awards from those TV shows like currently TWC with there extreme christmas and then making it public on TV for all the world to see.

LIghten up people. This isn't a malicious thread and is well meaning..........see it in that light.

I gave a 4 man tent, sleeping bag,Coleman lantern,M65 field jacket and food to a homeless guy because he told me he was living in an abandoned house that had no roof and he was cold. It was all gone the next day, he had traded or sold it to get his alcohol or drugs. I was told he was addicted to both. Haven't done that again. Since then I just donate to Salvation Army. Figure they can make sure items are put to good use.
