No one is saying you can't have armed, trained guards.
THAT is the WHOLE POINT to GUN CONTROL
No one says to ban guns. They want to CONTROL who uses them. This means registering, training, vetting etc. so that only a few can have certain types of guns.
Having armed guards coincides EXACTLY with the gun CONTROL policies they are pushing for.
but but but... they want to BAN AR's. Do these 'armed guards' have AR's or do they have handguns?

Quite frankly, I don't support TPTB, but really, the last thing I want is a bunch of guntards who can't read simple english, and understand simple logic running around with loaded AR's, handguns.

It was created in case the government got out of control so the people could defend themselves. Everyone argues "well that was in a time when people used muskets". Ya well guess what, the government today has the most advanced weaponry at its disposal. So if a citizen wants to feel safe with an AR-15 then I have no problem with that. People ask, well what do you need a semi-automatic or automatic rifle for? Well what if 3 armed burglars come in your house? You shoot 1 with your handgun...guess what you get blown away by the other 2. It's been proven time and time again and even the FBI studies have confirmed it. You have way more crime in more gun controlled areas then you do in areas where there is less gun control. Australia proved that point when they forced everyone to turn in their firearms. Burglaries, rapes and general crime all went up? Why? Because the bad guys always get guns and they knew the responsible citizens wouldn't be armed. [ link to www.lexrex.com]
