Wisconsin hit -55F a few years ago.
Fuck that! That's just too cold.
I couldn't imagine dealing with those temps every Winter.
We all breathe the same air.

I've been at -58 in Fairbanks. It sucked, you have no idea unless you live it.

It gets colder than that here in Alaska, I have a friend out in the Bush, she's had -65 already, several times.

It gets colder in Antarctica, I've been told.

No thanks!

Extreme tilt would bring warm weather to Russia. The tilt is straitening up. Becoming less of a tilt will bring extreme cold snaps to Russia.

Forecast in Iceland shows that we might break the historical RECORD for lowest temperature ever recorded, next 27th December, near Myvatn

[link to www.mbl.is]

The computer models forecast a low temperature between -34ºC to -45ºC, still uncertain and difficult to predict exactly. But the absolute Icelandic record stands at -38ºC from 1918.
temperature in Reykjavik for 1938 is still falling? Recently it dropped by almost 1.8°C

Don't forget, Iceland is the green one. Greenland is the icy one. They originally named them that way to keep too many people from moving to Iceland, lol.

Re: russia freezes extremely. down to -53 degree celsius / -137 degree fahrenheit.....
If the earth has been shifted off it's axis by a mere 2O degrees, the new polar Arctic region would now be within these zones:
Russia, Iceland, Finland, Greenland, Britain, Part of France, Germany, Czech Republic, etc etc.
If you have a protractor start the center on Iceland and draw a big circle around it. I don't have a protractor, so I am guessing, it covers much of Europe, Part of Russia, etc. It will be like the movie "Day after tommorow" there. The warmer climates will be elsewhere now, with the equator being changed too.
This video will help you visually.

Thank you, El Quisqueyano, at least some one gets that right.

Also, OP's Headline is a much more distorted thing that one even finds in the much bashed MSM. When are those so anti-MSM stop acting even worse than the MSM in their wide distortions. There is only one reason for such grand distortions, propaganda. Oh, I guess the other one is pure ignorance.

Oh, and those not in the know -137F air would have the "snow" be Dry Ice C02 as well as water ice, just saying, sorta like the Mars Ice Caps.

Dry Ice is particularly useful for freezing, and keeping things frozen because of its very cold temperature: -109.3°F or -78.5°C.

In -35c cars that not in garages are freez- wheels defeated(to 0 psi ), and fou can't start engine- battarey aint no working enough. If car is diesel - paraffin(wax in diesel fuel) precipitate and crystalise- is MUCH bigger problem. But there is too many guys making cash on car defreazing. They use 50-100kW gas\diesel fuel heat guns. Defreaze costs 30-50$ and it about 20-30 mins.
80% of peoples who using cars in winter have a "engine covering" - carbon fabric blanket that puts on engine to save heat. On the north another problem - car freezes when you drive. It means cooling liquid freezes in radiator while engine is running. in that sutuations cooling liquid changes to 98% clean spirit.. covering all engine.. put inside doors and roofs extra thermal insulation.. exhaust pipes goes thru the gas tank to heat fuel..
I want to tell that -40 sometimes -45 - is absolutely normal.
When it -30 and low, im going my job on foot- i think it's great to breathe clean air))

I love the air when it's really cold. (Fairbanks here, and it's been really cold).

There is nothing else like taking a long walk in solstice alpenglow at 40 below.
It's like breathing liquid oxygen, like taking an internal cleansing bath.
Absolutely delicious.
