My bad, the wording was wrong. Instead: serial/ordinal number of the man. The no. is not about his name, may be too. But that´s not the point, in Revelation.

Except the book of Revelation was anti-roman propoganda that was meant to show the fall of the ROman empire. 666 was Ceaser Nero.

the mark of the beast is just fear to keep people evolving. To me how can a good message from the bible be so threatening in the end. It seems to me that God isn't the God we have thought him to be.

From what I understand, it is actually to do with the Pythagorean Illuminati's explanation of dimensions, which is 3 real dimensions & 3 imaginary dimensions (as in, imaginary numbers)

That doesn't make much sense, does it? Maybe I'm not explaining it right. I can give a link to a book that will explain it better.

The 'mark of the beast' is apparently the seal of Solomon, which members of the Illuminati used to have on their right hand, as like a mark of identification to other members.

Now if you know anything about the Illuminati, they sort of don't get along well with Christians, this is why the mark is described as 'The mark of the beast.'
