Truth is, gun control is an insignificant initiative with respect to LEGITIMATE U.S. government policy, 'for and by the people'. There is already sufficient force to check an armed population that is unjust (or 'in the wrong') in any given specific measure against the government. Keyword here is "unjust". Therefore, gun control or disarmament is sourced by concerns of administrative personal safety; but why? There has not been a historical precedent of heightened concern in the U.S. for the safety of "representatives" beyond standard measures. Which means strict gun control measures as a passive initiative are by design to protect those that seek oppressive legislation, and anti american agenda's; it is by design a measure to protect the sentiments of treason against the country via undue authoritarianism..
