Quite the oposite for me. I do what I can to make a small difference in the day of the service workers I interact with. Being polite and courteous is the glue that holds a diverse and complex society together. It has to be backed up by sincerity and empathy, not faked.

Now the exception are those who really fuck up, like lazy, fat slovenly bartenders that think they own the establishment in which they are employed. By far the exception though. Just had to get that off my chest.
